Why Tensor CAD ?

1. Easy, quick and capable

Do you find time consuming and boring, trying to learn how to use these complex CAD programs? Are you scared of their complexity or don't have time to read huge amounts of documentation in order to use them?

Then Tensor CAD is for you!

I wanted a capable, simple and quick to learn CAD program, to design some mechanical parts in order to send them for production on a lathe and make small datasheets for these parts. Whereas Tensor CAD is dedicated to mechanical production it can be used for production of any design, like architectural, furniture etc.

Almost all the programs I have found on the web, free or paid, were too difficult to start using them out of the box. I wanted to be able to install the program and then start using it right away, without reading any boring documentation. Time was limited and I wanted this time for my projects and not to try to learn how to use the program itself.

At the same time, some other easy to use free programs, lack the ability to produce professionally looking designs and these are mostly limited to picture or imaging view.

To give you an idea of how easy is to use Tensor CAD, I give you an example compared to PCB prototyping world. If you know how easy is to use ExpressPCB for PCB prototyping, then I can tell you that Tensor CAD is much more easier to use for mechanical or architectural design.

2. Customer service

Customer care (or potential customer), is just as excellent. I contacted the company through skype because I did not want to wait ages to get an answer. When I want support, I want it now! I found a representative immediately and he was willing to answer all my questions specifically and essentially.

I hate the way many companies encounter their potential customers, using generalized answers or taking "at least two working days" to answer. This is rubbish, what do they think customers are, robots?

3. Easy website and clear online documentation

The website of the company was as easy to follow as the program itself. I hate the way many companies make their websites. They seem to care more about fancy graphics and effects than the information content and the website structure itself. The website of this company is easy to follow and all the information is clearly presented. It is very easy to find what you want there. There is even a trial version of the program (full featured - time limited), which you can download and test it before you purchase the program.

All the documentation about Tensor CAD can be found on the website. Do you think that you have to search well for the topic of interest? That is not true. Topics can be easily found and the company provides lots of examples and easy to follow exercises, to train yourself within a few minutes. The easiest way I found to self-train, was to use the online videos available on the website. These are tutorials on how to use the program and it's features.

Does it worth the money?

I am not the person that would like to pay to buy software. Nevertheless, writing good software requires as much labor as hardware to make. In extreme cases, when I judge that a software is really good and easy to use, so as to solve many of my problems, I do not mind paying small amounts to buy it.

I hate to admit it, but serious software has to be bought more or less, unless you go the illegal way and "find" it somewhere. The price you pay, encourages the creators/companies to continue developing and supporting this software, which will be for your benefit on the next version.

Saying this, I do not impose that software has to be overcharged! Paying thousands of euros for a piece of software seems crap to me, even if it is a really good software. You can only do it if you are a well grown company, not an individual. More in this, it seems crap to me to buy the previous version of a program and then have to pay more to obtain the next version.

But what is really good software anyway, one that supports a huge lot of features only or one that is as easy to learn and use as well? You will never find how these complex programs like ADS or AutoCAD work, unless you read the documentation extensively, do many examples, spend huge lot of time and try to remember all the stuff afterwards.

With TensorCAD that is not true. For example the next drawing can be done in less than 10 minutes, without reading any documentation!

So, how much does it cost anyway?

The company sells TensorCAD for 199 Euros. That's it, even if you are a huge company or an individual the amount is the same, right?

Wrong! Discounts can be made for personal use. If you are an individual and interested in purchasing the software to make things not for selling, you can have a good discount on it.

Furthermore, I have 40% discount tickets on this program, either you are a company, or an individual! This is about half the cost! No need to pay more if you can pay so much less. Please contact me to get your ticket now!

It's worth it!
